This product is designed for adding to any machine where it is believed that adding a long easily accessible foot switch that safety is improved.  While the product can be added to a wide range of machines and can be used as a normal routine “stop” switch, the most obvious use is for fitment to lathes not already fitted with a foot brake.   Note however that this is a switch only and no braking effect is implied or provided unless braking is provided by mechanical means or the fitting of a DC Injection braking system.  Made in two versions, one with a single switch located at the left hand end or with switches mounted at both ends for increased security.   Each switch has two normally closed contacts (2NC) with positive break safety compliance.   Special sizes are available on application.
